this reminds me of those posters back in the early 90's when they were trying to encouragle children to read more! this would certainly inspire me to read! you've done an excellent job putting these images together, and i really love the way you've got the water falling out of the book...it really gives a sense that the book is rising up out of the sea.
OH MY GOD! THAT IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL! ITS AWESOME.. I LOOVE IT.. I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE IT! ITS GREAT! ITS BETTER THAN GREAT.. ITS SOOOOOOOOOO PETERPAN! I WANNA GO TO NEVERLAND!!

This is one of the most incredible manips I have ever seen. The colors are so magical, and the composition is exceptional. Yes, I love how the water is pouring off of the page, and how you have given us a small glimpse of what is on the next page, really drawing us into the whole thing. Also, the way the book pages look like they are flapping, like wings, making the book fly. The clarity is out of this world, and that sky, it's just all so dreamy. Oh, I would love to have a print of this.
this reminds me of Peter Pan as well, just a bit, but more of Treasure Island . . .one of my faves as a kid. wow. I love the water cascading from the pages of the book to the water below, how on earth did you do that?!?! it's a wonderful piece, hun, just wonderful! puts me in mind of literacy posters or even of a movie poster (Time Bandits comes to mind rather strongly!!).
